Dressed to Kill
- long gown of copper iridescent cire with attached, contrast-lined peplum
and wide, over-the-shoulder straps forming a bodice which is gathered into
to an inset midriff. The skirt has a knee high center back slit and back
panels extended to form a fishtail shaped train. The peplum is lined
in deep rose satin. No surface decoration. Back snap closure. The
dress is
fully lined in copper acetate satin.
- oversize decorative muff of wine satin which matches the peplum lining.
The muff itself is lined in copper satin. The face side is completely
covered in silk petals of crimson, rose and wine with an off center cluster
of copper and rose metallic beads.
- rose opera-length gloves
- rose satin ribbon-tie shoes on a rose colored base
- wired, band style hat, completely covered in silk petals of wine and rose,
green leaves, and two larger central blossoms, one of crimson, one of light
rose.
- rose metallic topped hatpin to secure the hatband
- beaded necklace of larger rosebeads acting as stations between 5 copper
toned smaller beads. Gold S-closure.
- looped beaded rose and copper dangle earrings on gold posts.
